On October 8, 2024, our students from the Department of Igbo and Other Nigerian Languages embarked on an enriching excursion to the historic sites of Aguleri Obu Gad and Ogbanabo Omabala.

This unique opportunity allowed them to dive deep into the cultural heritage and history of the Igbo people, expanding their understanding beyond the classroom.This memorable experience was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Head of Department, Dr. Okafor Nkiru Jeo, whose passion for cultural education continues to inspire our students and community.
