NWAFOR ORIZU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION NSUGBE (NOCEN) GETS NEW PROVOST
Anambra State Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo has approved the appointment of Dr. Justina Chinyere Anyadiegwu as the new provost of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe.The announcement was made on Tuesday 7th May 2024 by press secretary to the Governor Christian Aburime.
The statement added that Dr. Anyadiegwu’s appointment reflects the commitment of the Soludo administration to promoting meritocracy and fostering the continued development of educational institutions in Anambra.
Anyadiegwu was a senior lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literary Studies, Nwafor Orizu College of Education and succeeds Dr. Anwuluorah Ogugua Patricia as provost of NOCEN.
“Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Anyadiegwu has also contributed significantly to the educational landscape of Nigeria. Her role as a consultant trainer with the British Council Nigeria underscores her proficiency and recognition in the field of education” the statement reads.
“Dr. Anyadiegwu holds a Ph.D. in English/Language Arts/Teacher Education from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, further solidifying her credentials as a distinguished scholar and educator.
