As an important citadel of academic learning, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe (NOCEN) plays a pivotal role in producing highly qualitative, motivated, conscientious and efficient classroom teachers for the Nigerian educational system. Among many of such teachers is Mr. Nwosu Joseph Afamefuna, a PhysicsTeacher at Government Technical College, Osamala, Ogbaru LGA, who emerged the overall Best Teacher in the entire federation. He graduated from Education/Physics Department, NOCEN in 2013 with first class, won Maltina Teachers Award for Anambra State in 2021.
