We are delighted to announce that our school, Nwafor Orizu College Demonstration Secondary School, Awka (NOCDSS) came first and consequently was awarded in the project pitching competition on Water Filtration System organized by the Green Environment and Climate Change Initiative founded by Mrs Mmachukwu Obimdike.

Represented by Master Chukwujekwu Evans and Miss Okonkwo Chikamso, our school’s innovative water filtration system not only showcased our commitment to sustainability but also clearly demonstrates our passion for creating a cleaner and greener future for our school in particular and community by extension. This achievement underscores the hard work, creativity and dedication of our students and teachers who worked assiduously to bring this glory home.
