It was a two-segment event of Carols and Thanksgiving organised by the College Management to celebrate Christmas and also thank God for His goodnesses throughout the year.

The event which brought together students and staff of the College to celebrate the spirit of Christmas and also thank God, created a heartwarming experience. It was filled with beautiful choral renditions, uplifting hymns, and meaningful lessons that reflect the birth of Jesus Christ. As always, our amazing students of the Music department with their Head of Department, Dr Chukwuka showcased their extraordinary abilities, captivating and entertaining the entire College community with their impressive vocal skills and heartfelt displays.

After the carols and lessons, the clergymen Fr Henry Eke, Chaplain St Catherine Catholic Chaplaincy and Ven. Christian Ifeonu, Chaplain Chapel of the Holy Spirit Chaplaincy,  who officiated the interdenominational service called for thanksgiving to God for everything He has done for us individually and collectively. The College management led the thanksgiving session and all the schools and units in the College followed suit.

It was a perfect opportunity for everyone to gather and thank God for what an incredible year this year has been for the College, considering the assiduous works of our dear Provost and the intervention of His Excellency Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Executive Governor of Anambra State.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in organising and performing in this event. Your dedication and hard work made the day a memorable one. As we celebrate the holiday season, let us carry forward the message of hope, love and peace reflected during this event.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of The Staff of the Year Award to Mr Achumonye Williams of Works Department. It is our earnest hope that the joy and wins of the coming year will be greater than this year’s.

Here is wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a fruitful New Year ahead.
