TEACHERS REGISTRATION COUNCIL OF NIGERIA (TRCN) INDUCTS OVER 1025 NEW TEACHERS AT NOCEN
Graduands of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe (NOCEN) were inducted into the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria on 17th August 2022.The event took place at the College auditorium.
The TRCN Registrar Professor Josiah Ajiboye in his speech said that the event was most important legal basis of admission into the profession and a condition for professional practice while revealing that the council was established by TRCN Decree 31 o f 1993 now TRCN ACT CAP T3 of 2004 to regulate and control the teaching profession.
On her part, the Provost of the College, Dr. Ifeyinwa Osegbo congratulated the graduands for proving themselves worthy in character and learning as required by the college and urged them to always ensure that they uphold the teaching profession in high and professional standard. She further enjoined the teachers to avail themselves the opportunity to build themselves in line with the twenty-first century innovative international best practices in teaching
